Important process data from PLC/ SCADA or DCS, Batch Management Systems is fetched automatically and stored in a secure and open database such as MS SQL Server, which is an integral part of the Historian. Various Management Information Reports are generated by querying this data using different querying tools. This data is also used in MES systems giving advanced reports such as OEE about the manufacturing process. The MES is integrated with a company’s ERP system to enable decision making at the corporate level.
